Open Letter to Iowa & New Hampshire - Why we support John Edwards 4 President

This diary is intended to be an Open Letter to Iowa caucus-goers and New Hampshire voters.
 
My intent is for this to be a one-stop diary that kossacks can use to share, link to, or even print out. Since it's the weekend right before Holiday kick-off, I don't expect to get a of participation.  However, do bookmark and share it with others so that they can contribute at a more convenient time.

If you support John Edwards for President, and assuming you'd like to participate, briefly explain the reason you are supporting him in your comment below.  I'm hoping you'll keep it positive, with minimal comparisons to other candidates.

Finally, I am respectfully requesting that this diary NOT become a sparring ground.  I realize I cannot control this, but if you happen to take issue with another person's comment (for whatever reason) please save it for someone else's diary where appropriate.  There are plenty of attack diaries to choose from.  If you don't happen to see one right now, please be patient - they should be along shortly.  Deal?  Deal.

I'll start it off -->

I am supporting John Edwards for President because:  

·  He has exhibited to me that he has the backbone, and the fortitude, that it will take to work for the ideals that I hold dear, and he will FIGHT for them.

·  He shows EMPATHY for those less fortunate, and the DETERMINATION to help them rise up.

·  He is the ONLY candidate that is willing to stand up to the multi-billion dollar corporations that have made our lives a living hell.

I could go on and on with specifics, but I'll just leave it with this one last thing.

·  While he is not perfect (who is?), I TRUST HIM with my family's, AND America's, future.
